1. Who is Electric Lo-Fi Seresta?
It is a “solo project” of Guilherme Almeida, guitarist / vocalist /
songwriter veteran of Rio independent band The John Candy
(http://thejohncandy.com), with the participation of friends who appear
from time to time. "Noites Brancas", album whose digital launch will
take place October 28th through the English label Dufflecoat Records,
and it was produced by Le Almeida (Transfusion Noise Records).
To vent some of his idiosyncratic defects as the eighties janglepop, the
chorus pedals and reverb saturated regime, minor chords of bossa
nova, the ultraintuitives recordings of the first bands of K Records and
the Durutti Column, Guilherme Almeida was rediscovering own songs
who were kept in K7 demos in the closet since the end of the 90s, as
well as new songs composed during the rescue of a future tense or so-
distant.
